Double Row Tapered Roller Bearing (TDO Type) can withstand axial and radial combined loads

at the same time, so it can be used as a fixed end bearing. It is also used as a free end bearing to

balance the relative movement between the bearing housing and the outer ring of the bearing

caused by thermal deformation of the shaft.

Double Row Tapered Roller Bearings (TDI Type)

Double row tapered roller bearings are generally used where there is only axial load or axial load

greater than radial load. In some cases, spring is used to provide a preload between the bearing

housing and the back of the bearing outer ring (without the outer ring spacer).
